Emprise Bank president featured WIBA speaker next week

Tom Page, president of Emprise Bank, never lacks for insightfulness.

So his talk Tuesday at the Wichita Independent Business Association?s September luncheon ought to be interesting.

His topic: The state of banking in Kansas.

No shortage of fodder there...

Reservations to attend the luncheon are required by Friday. To reserve a spot, call WIBA at 316-201-3264, reserve online or email membership@wiba.org.

Cost for the event is $15.

Tuesday?s luncheon will be 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wichita Area Association of Realtors, 170 W. Dewey St.

Page has held his position at the bank since 1994. Emprise is the third-largest locally based bank in terms of assets, at $1.5 billion, putting it behind No. 1 Intrust and very closely behind No. 2 Fidelity.

John Stearns covers real estate, development and banking.
